The storage business at Kandla Port was started in 1960 with a modest beginning of 2 tanks and has developed into a full-fledged unit with 64 tanks having a storage capacity of around 1.27 Lakhs KL. Facilities are offered to importers and exporters for storage and handling of various bulk liquid cargoes such as chemicals, petroleum products, edible oil, non-edible oils, alcohol etc.
